Folks who love great roots (folk, celtic, bluegrass, blues, gospel, singer-songwriter etc.) music come from everywhere to attend the Edmonton Folk Music Festival. It is the largest folk music festival in North America and is rated by performers and music writers as among the top three festivals of its kind in the world!
Tickets go on sale each year on June 1 (Tuesday for 2010). Information about how to get tickets will be posted the Wednesday before June 1 (May 26 for 2010). There are only 10,000 4-day passes available plus 1000 evening tickets each day. Four-day passes often sell out, so if you want to attend, plan on buying your passes and tickets on June 1 or soon thereafter to avoid disappointment.
Ticket prices are not yet known for 2010 and correllate somewhat with the cost of performers. We hope to be able to provide this information about May 1. Stay in touch with News for current information about ticket prices and how to get tickets.
