Hello volunteers! We've done it again! Thanks to everyone who pitched in to help make Festival 2009 a tremendous success. And special thanks to those volunteers who stepped up to help with the Wednesday Concert. With limited notice and some impromptu guidance, you demonstrated why Folk Festival volunteers are the best anywhere! I'm extremely proud of you. If we decide to have a Wednesday evening again, I am confident we will have more time to plan volunteer requirements, scheduling etc.
So now we move into the fall de-brief phase of the year. If you have made notes about how we can improve the way volunteers do their work, please forward these to your coordinator for consideration. If you are a coordinator, please collect your crew's inputs for incorporation into your report and any discussions. Thanks for everyone's commitment to continually improving the Festival!
