And so, 2009, a very special year for the Folk Festival comes to a close. From great weather to superb sound, from amazing artists to wonderful volunteers, from great concerts to the first Wednesday night fundraising concert, well, it can’t go much better.
As we look forward to 2010, we start with concerts by Steve Earle (January), Wilco (February), both at the Jubilee. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster 780-451-8000.
Hawksley Workman and the Grammy Award winning Soweto Gospel Choir follow in March at the Winspear Centre. Tickets available at the Winspear box office 780- 428-1414.
